Joe got out of the house today & went to Shiloh (farm close to Steele, AL). He came home tonight almost exhausted, but said he fared better today than he did the last time he spent the day down there. He says he's better than he was a month ago. He ate a bowl of chicken & dumplings tonight & some icebox fruit cake & has been asleep in the recliner since his supper. It has been 2 years now since he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer,and was given 6 months to live. We are so thankful to the Good Lord for the time he has allowed us to have, but its never enough!! We are thankful for the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with our children tomorrow night here at home. We are both dreading his check-up in Jan, so please continue to keep us in your prayers.
